Teachers-on-Parade, online worship

Teachers-on-Parade was morale booster in Menifee Friday, March 27, as local teachers, family and friends (L/R) drove through the neighborhoods of Heritage Lake honking horns and waving to stay-at-home students and parents. 

Church services are online (top, left) until April 30 -- unless a miracle happens. The worship team at Revival plays an acoustic set March 25 for the Wednesday 7 p.m. stay-at-home service.

Tragedy in Menifee: Murder-suicide, four persons die shot in home

 

 

April 7 -Compiled from Riverside County Sheriff's Public Information Office report: On Monday, April, 6 at 3:56 p.m. Riverside County sheriff deputies from Perris Station responded to a domestic violence incident in the 31000 block of Sherman Road in Menifee. Deputies made contact with a male adult who stated he shot his family and refused to exit the house. As negotiations were underway for the male to surrender, deputies heard what sounded like a single gunshot from within the residence. Upon entering, law enforcement found one male dead with apparently a self-inflicted gunshot, three other victms were found with gunshot wounds, two were deceased, one died at a local hospital. Investigation is ongoing and names are being withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin.
