Game changer

Richard M. Nixon (above with wife Pat) remains California's only native son elected president of the United States. The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum is in Yorba Linda where he was raised in a frugal Quaker family. The Oval Office phone (R) was used July 11, 1969 to talk to Apollo 11 astronauts on the Moon. Five presidents with their wives (L) attended his funeral April 22, 1994.
